I’ve been in business for 11 years and currently lead a team of 12 dedicated professionals who bring positive energy and purpose into everything we do. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance along with an MBA, and that background helps guide the thoughtful, strategic approach we take when serving our customers and growing our team. Community involvement is a major priority for our agency — I serve as a Director for the Pasadena ISD Education Foundation and chair its Finance Committee, and I’m an active member of the South Belt–Ellington Chamber of Commerce. We also support our local fire department each year with fire prevention kits and participate in annual community events like National Night Out, Trunk or Treat, and Winter Wonderland.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Steve Sipes - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Compensation: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
